Being just 30 meters long and having no driver, the First railless train in the world has already captured a huge interest for those who attended the presentation a few days ago. The new invention has been launched in ZhouZhou, Hunan which is located in central China and demonstrates how technology is advancing fast. An interesting fact about the First railless train in the world is the lack of rails which have been replaced with rubber tires, leaving the guiding to an entire series of sensors. The trip can also be planned by the train itself and brings new benefits in the field of public transportation.
The Local authorities in ZhouZhou have already decided to test the amazing First railless train in the world and starting with 2018 special lines will be drawn on the roads in the central side of the city. These lines will represent the routes of the train which is able to carry a maximum of 500 passengers at a speed of 70 km/h. Above all these features, our First railless train in the world is able to run nearly 40 miles being completely electric . The charging time has been calculated to gain 10 miles after 15 minutes of plugging the battery. Less traffic congestion and reduced gases is the main purpose of the company that built the First railless train in the world. CRRC Zhuzhou Institute has also given a possible name for the train calling it ART which means Autonomous Rail Rapid Transit and if the concept will develop at a mass scale, we may be facing a new era in the field of transportation. China is totally prepared for such an impressive invention and demonstrates once again that technology implemented in projects such as First railless train in the world can become a huge advantage in protecting our environment.
