The electric car from BMW called I3 is the next star to be presented on Indian auto market at the beginning of 2014. Measuring almost 4 meters in lenght and nearly 1200 kg in weight the futuristic car offers a completely new design combined with high quality materials and latest technology regarding safety and driving.
The engine has a power of 125 kw and runs by batteries capable of a 150 km autonomy once being fully charged. The I branch from BMW is also preparing a larger sport version called BMW I8, that is going to use both types of propulsion meaning electric power and petrol , the I 8 is also going to embrace the streets of India but on a later stage.
With a fiberglass body kit and friendly environmental materials, the maximum speed of BMW I3 will be only 150 km/h and the price is appreciated to rise up to 40,000 $
