Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong has unveiled the Ganbanyoku Oasis package to celebrate being the city’s first hotel to offer Ganbanyoku hot stone therapy in its Spa. This package provides guests with a 3-hour Eastern Experience journey in a private couple’s Spa suite, incorporating Ganbanyoku therapy, and luxurious accommodation from which to explore the surrounding Central neighbourhood. Additional benefits include priority reservations for the hotel’s award-winning restaurants, use of the indoor swimming pool with underwater sound system and a personal training session in the state-of-the-art gym.
Ganbanyoku, is the renowned Japanese hot stone therapy using tenshoh seki, which is natural lava rock, heated to just over 44˚C. During their Spa journey at Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, guests recline on the Ganbanyoku bed, which radiates far-infrared rays and emits negative ions to penetrate deep beneath the skin’s surface, rebalancing the body’s equilibrium. This is followed by the Sakura or Yuzu-infused anti-oxidant soothing rinse, Azuki Bean Scrub, and Chinese Meridian massage.
